Love stories come in all shapes and sizes, but there’s something undeniably magical about a proposal. When Paul decided to ask Kenzie, he chose a picturesque setting under the comforting branches of a majestic oak tree – one that they pass every day while walking their dogs in Austin, Texas. I had the incredible honor of capturing this unforgettable moment.
Paul knew that this oak tree held a special place in Kenzie’s heart. He chose the tranquil park behind their home, where the towering oak tree provided the perfect, tucked-away proposal spot. With its sprawling branches and lush greenery, the stage was set! There he worked with her friends to prepare a champagne toast and picnic, with her favorite flowers and their love songs playing.
As the golden hour approached, Paul and Kenzie arrived at the park, during their daily dog walk. The air was filled with anticipation as they strolled hand in hand beneath the tree. When they reached the perfect spot, Paul got down on one knee and asked Kenzie to be his forever. Her joyful “Yes!” filled the air, and tears started flowing.
Her family also joined in on the surprise!
After the proposal, we continued our photography session, capturing their elation and the post-proposal glow. The park provided a stunning background for their engagement photos, and their happiness was palpable in every shot. We toasted champagne, too!
